Client
Welemoyne Alexanderwelemoynealexander.com. Cinematic music videos for a music project, with the visual experience developed from the ground up around the music, story and artistic direction.
Project
Transform the music into a complete cinematic visual world — developing the characters, environments, scenes and visual language rather than working from pre-existing assets.
Pipeline
Music → Concept → Story → Visual direction → Character creation → Character design → Environment design → 3D / scene building → Cinematic shot design → Camera direction → Animation → Compositing → Music sync → Editing → Colour grading → VFX → Final video
Scope
Handled the production independently from concept to final delivery — developing the concept, story and visual direction; creating and designing characters from scratch; designing environments and locations; building 3D scenes and spatial layouts; planning individual shots and sequences; designing cinematic camera angles, framing and perspectives; directing camera movement and establishing visual focus within each shot; using wide shots, close-ups, over-the-shoulder shots, low and high angles and dynamic compositions to support the story; creating and animating scenes; compositing multiple visual elements together; synchronising visuals with the music; editing and structuring the final sequence; adding VFX, colour grading and finishing; and delivering the final cinematic video.
Cinematic direction
A significant part of the work was shot composition and camera direction. Each scene was approached from a cinematic perspective — deciding where the camera should be positioned, what the audience should see, how much of the environment should be revealed, and how camera movement could support the emotion and storytelling. That meant experimenting with camera angles, perspective, framing, depth, scale, foreground/background relationships and camera movement to make individual shots feel intentional and cinematic.
Creative approach
Build the world first. Then build the film around it. The process started by establishing the visual identity of the project — characters, environments, atmosphere, lighting, composition and cinematic language. Scenes were then developed around the music and narrative, with the strongest compositions and visuals shaping the pacing of the final edit.
Craft
The challenge wasn't simply creating individual visuals. It was making everything work together as one cinematic production — characters staying believable within their environments, environments supporting the story, and every shot connecting through composition, camera language, lighting, movement and editing.

Outcome
Cinematic music videos created from 0 to final delivery — concept development, character creation, environment design, 3D scene building, cinematic shot composition, camera direction, animation, compositing, editing, music synchronisation, VFX and colour treatment. The project demonstrated working across both the creative and technical sides of filmmaking: taking an idea from a blank page and turning it into a complete cinematic visual experience.

This is one of a few projects shown here — a small sample of what I've built. Happy to share more of the video work on request.
